Prince William County Police arrested Andro Cordero, 38, of Manassas Jan. 13 on charges of aggravated sexual battery, taking indecent liberties with a child and object sexual penetration.
According to police, officers from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which reportedly occurred in the 7700 block of Black Forest Court in Manassas.
"The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14-year-old girl of Gainesville, was sexually assaulted by the accused, an acquaintance, on more than one occasion between October and December of 2013," police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.
The accused was arrested without incident.
Cordero's court date has not been released and he is being held without bond.
