A resident of a home in the 11100 block of Wortham Crest Circle in Manassas discovered an unknown man early Friday morning inside his vehicle, which was parked in an attached garage.
According to the resident, the man fled on foot once he was discovered.
"The investigation revealed that the man had made entry into the garage through an open door," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "No entry was made into the main residence and no property was reported missing."
Police said the homeowner was unable to provide a description of the suspect to police.
