Manassas City Police Investigate Shots Fired into Home

ManassasPoliceThe City of Manassas Police Department is investigating an incident in which gun shots were fired into an occupied dwelling, Nov. 14. The shooter remains at large.

“After receiving a call for shots fired in the 9700 block of Aspen Place, officers found that a bullet had struck the window of a nearby dwelling as well as a vehicle in the area,” said Patty Prince, Communications Manager for the City of Manassas.

No injuries were reported.

According to Prince, police believed it was an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to the public.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed the incident call the Manassas City Police Department tip line.

Anyone with information about these events is encouraged to call the Manassas City Police Department Investigative Services Division at (703) 257-8092 or Crime Solvers.
