Prince William Police are investigating a break-in at Miller’s Neighborhood Market, located at 7601 Somerset Crossing Drive in Gainesville, by an individual reportedly wearing a white mask.
According to a witness, the front door of the business had been shattered; surveillance footage places the incident at 3:29 a.m. Wednesday.
" the suspect then grabbed several cartons and packs of cigarettes before fleeing the business on foot," police spokesman Officer Nathan Probus said.
Police employed a K-9 to search the area for the suspect, who was not located.
The suspect is described as approximately 30-years-old, 6 feet tall, 190 lbs, with a medium build; he was last seen wearing a white mask, green jacket, blue pants and white gloves. The suspect's race was not identified.
The investigation is ongoing.
