Mob Attacks Youth for Tomorrow Staff Member

Five female residents of Youth for Tomorrow attacked a 45 year-old staff member at 4:00 a.m. on May 6.

According to the Prince William County Police, the Fredericksburg woman reportedly was chocked, scratched and punched several times by the mob of juveniles. In addition, the accused residents destroyed several pieces of property before they fled the dorm area.

“While fleeing, three of the girls assaulted another female resident, a 15-year-old female of Bristow. All five girls were eventually located and charged,” said Public Information Officer Johnathan L. Perok in a statement.

Charged with two counts of assault & battery and one count of destruction of property were a 15-year-old female and two 16-year-old females, of Bristow. While a 16-year-old female and a 14-year-old female were charged only in the assault of the staff member and one count of destruction of property.

A court date is currently unavailable and all five girls are being held at a Juvenile Detention Facility.
