Emergency crews shut down part of Linton Hall Road Sunday afternoon for a motorcycle that hit a car on Rollins Ford Road.
The motorcycle appears to have been attempting to make a left turn onto Braided Stream where it struck a sliver Chevy SUV from behind.
The driver of the SUV was not injured. However, LifeEvac2 arrived to fly out the motorcyclist to a local medical facility.
The accident is under investigation.
