It must be approaching the holidays, since the individual(s) that mysteriously decorates the trees on Devlin Road in Bristow have struck early this year.
Residents of Sheffield Manor and passers-by on Devlin Road appreciate the efforts of a mystery tree trimmer, who for the past several years have decorated trees across the street from the community on an undeveloped plot of land.
While only a single tree stands decorated as of Nov. 11, residents expect more will come as each year more trees are decorated.
“My kids love; it. It used to be just one tree, and each year another is added. Makes us all remember the spirit of the holidays, now OUR job is to pay it forward,” Christina VanBalen Harrigan said last year.
There are differing accounts of how many people are involved, as some residents have witnessed a single female, while others report multiple individuals participating.
Whoever the mystery tree trimmers are, their efforts have become the source of seasonal joy for residents.
