Nokesville Man Chases Home Invaders

policecar630x290Prince William County Police are investigating another attempted residential burglary in Nokesville.

According to police, two unknown men attempted to enter a home located in the 14800 block of Glenkirk Road in Nokesville Thursday through an unlocked rear door; however, the homeowner was present during the incident.

"When the homeowner yelled towards the men, they fled the residence on foot," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "The homeowner attempted to follow the men but lost sight of the suspects in a wooded area near the residence."

Perok said no property was reported missing from the residence.

During the investigation, police used a K-9 unit to aid in the search for the men.

One suspect is described as a white male, between 20-25-years-old, six feet tall, 180 lbs with blonde hair, last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. The other man is between 20-25-years-old, five feet 8 inches, 200 lbs with black hair, last seen wearing a red shirt and blue shirt. His race is not known.

Police are also searching for individuals connected to two other Nokesville burglaries that occurred last week.
