Nokesville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will once again circulate through local communities dispensing candy with Santa beginning this Saturday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 20.
"Through special arrangements with the North Pole, Santa Claus will be making an early trip to check on children who have been 'naughty or nice," a NVFDRS spokesperson said.
Every year NVFDRS ushers Santa Claus on fire trucks through communities in Bristow, Nokesville and Gainesville dispensing candy to children.

Santa runs should begin by 10 a.m. on scheduled days. "We apologize that specific times can not be made available," he said. "Routes may be changed or be rescheduled due to weather or emergency calls and we will do our best to update the schedule below if anything changes." swole vs ripped
The department cautions parents to make sure that children stay on the sidewalk during Santa’s visits as the "fire sled" passes.
"Please ensure that children stay on the sidewalks and don't chase the engine down the street," he said.
