The Prince William County chapter of the Parents, Family & Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) in the Washington Metropolitan area is proud to sponsor Prince William County's Crime Prevention Unit.
The Crime Prevention Unit will present to the community Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the Bull Run Unitarian Universalist Congregation (BRUUC) located at 9350 Main Street in Old Town Manassas.
With the LGBT community in mind, officers will present on such topics as crime reporting and personal safety. Their presentations will include advice about staying safe in situations such as interacting in school and online.
PFLAG Prince William and the BRUUC cordially invite the public to attend.
Additionally, the BRUUC is enthusiastic about hosting this public service event.
“This is a great opportunity to discover how the Prince William County police department is reaching out to LGBT and LGBT youth community,” said Brian Pace, spokesperson for BRUUC.
Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays promote the equality and wellbeing of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through:

• Education to enlighten an ill-informed public
• Advocacy to end discrimination and secure equal civil rights.
