Police Arrest Gainesville Woman for Possession of Crack Cocaine

Following the conclusion of a narcotics investigation involving crack cocaine, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit arrested two individuals.

According to police, arrests were made without incident April 29 following a vehicle stop.

"During the vehicle stop, crack cocaine was located," police spokesperson Officer Ericca Figueroa said. "During the execution of the search warrant, an undisclosed amount of US Currency and items consistent with the distribution of crack cocaine were also located."

Police charged Natay Elizabeth Carter, 34, of Gainesville with possession of a schedule II narcotic, driving with a suspended license, hit and run, violation of probation and two counts of failure to appear. Her court date is June 6 and police are holding her without bond.

Deshoun Ernest Wallace, 31, of Manassas was charged with possession of a schedule II narcotic. His court date is also June 6 and he is held without bond.
