Police Arrest Nokesville Man for Theft of Guitars

Detectives from the Property Crimes Unit charged Donald Thomas Logsdon, 50, with burglary and grand larceny Jan. 6 in connection to the theft of two guitars from a Nokesville residence, valued around $1100.

Logsdon allegedly entered a residence through an unsecure pet door Dec. 20.

"The accused was identified after he allegedly pawned property, which was reported stolen during the incident," police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

Detectives served the warrant and arrested Logsdon Jan. 6 at his residence on Schaeffer Lane without incident.

Logsdon's court date is scheduled for Feb. 20; bond information is unavailable.
