Daniel Wesley York has been located and safely returned to his family.

"Thank you for your assistance in his safe return," said a spokesperson for the Prince William Police.

The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing, endangered juvenile, Daniel Wesley York.

The investigation revealed that Daniel left his home located in the 12600 block of Monarch Ct in Woodbridge (22192) on November 29 between the hours of 9:30 and 10:13 p.m.

Daniel is believed to have left the residence voluntarily and may be in need of assistance, which qualifies him as being endangered. Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police at 703-792-6500.

Daniel Wesley York is described as a white male, 16 years of age, 6’4’’, 140 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, black jacket, tan pant, and black shoes.

It is believed that Daniel is also carrying a blue hiking backpack and an unknown colored sleeping bag.
