Police Ask for Help Finding Nokesville Bank Robber

The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in providing information about a bank robbery which was reported to have occurred at the Carter Bank & Trust in the Nokesville area of Prince William County.

On March 6 at 11:18 a.m., officers responded to the Carter Bank & Trust located at 12912 Fitzwater Drive in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a robbery.

“Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the bank and approached the teller counter,” said police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok. “Once at the counter, the man passed a note demanding money and implying a weapon.”

The man fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. No injuries were reported and no weapon was seen, said Perok. The suspect was last seen fleeing the bank on foot. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Suspect Description:

White male, between 20 and 25 years of age, 5’5”, 150lbs with a thin build and a reddish-mustache. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with “South Pole” embroidered on the back and blue jeans
