Photo Courtesy of Prince William County PolicePrince William County Police charged Nestor Alexander Arevalo-Manica, 34, of Chantilly with the Nov. 22 sexual assault of a 29-year-old Manassas woman.
Police report that the victim and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated in the 7200 block of Royal Fern Circle in Manassas.
"During the encounter, the accused physically and sexually assaulted the victim," police spokesman Jonathan Perok said. "After the altercation, the accused left the home and the victim contacted police."
Officers later located and detained Arevalo-Manica, who was charged with object sexual penetration following the investigation.
The suspect's court date is pending, and he is held without bond.
