According to detectives from the Special Victims Bureau, a 21-year-old Nokesville woman was raped June 8 by an acquaintance who forced her to drive to the area of Par Drive and Vint Hill Road.

“Once there, the accused displayed a handgun and raped the victim,” police spokesman Jonathan Perok said. “After the assault, the accused ordered the victim to drive him home.”

After concluding an investigation, police charged Alfred Curtis Means, 21, of Manassas, with rape, abduction, forcible sodomy and three counts of the use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Police obtained warrants for Means' arrest, whom detectives located and took into custody without incident on Glenolden Road.

“Search warrants were obtained and executed at the suspect’s residence and the residence on Glenolden Road,” Perok said.

At that time, police determined that the firearm Means used in the incident was a BB gun.

The suspect’s court date and bond information is unavailable.
