The Crime Prevention Unit of the Prince William County Police Department is hosting an hour-long Neighborhood Watch training and meeting on Monday, May 2, at 7 p.m.
According to Communications Specialist II Sharon Richardson, the event is intended for those interested in starting a neighborhood watch
"This event will include the training needed to start one. Are you already part of a Watch? Come for a refresher and to meet other Watch coordinators and members to share ideas," she said.
Topics will include crime reporting, emergency preparedness, watch patrolling, active violence, and a Q&A session.
The event will be held at the Police Department’s Paul T. White (Western District) Station, 8900 Freedom Center Boulevard, Manassas
The department requests that residents RSVP to jalicie@pwcgov.org to ensure there are enough materials.
