Police Increase Presence Around County Schools Following Conn. Shootings

Prince William County Police will increase their presence in and around schools this week.

The police do not wish to alarm the public, rather they are taking precautions in light of Friday's tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

"We simply want to reassure our children that they are safe in school and our community," the police posted on Facebook.
