Prince William County Police responded Oct. 19 to reports of an attempted burglary at a residence located in the 9700 block of Faber Lane in Bristow.
According to the homeowner, an individual(s) attempted to enter the home between 2:50 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Oct. 18 through the front door which was found damaged.
"No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said.
