Police Investigate Attempted Burglary in Bristow

Apolicecrusierclose phone app warned a Bristow homeowner May 4 that an intruder was attempting to make entry into a residence in the 12600 block of Victory Lakes Loop.

The homeowner reported to police that around 2:59 p.m. Monday, the security system indicated that a basement window was opened.

"When the homeowner checked the window, it was found opened and a curtain that was covering the window was lying on the ground," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "No entry is believed to have been made into the home and no property was reported missing."
