Police Search for Suspect in Gainesville 7-11 Armed Robbery

Prince William County Police are searching for the individual who robbed, at gunpoint, the Limestone Drive 7-11 in Gainesville at 1:48 a.m. Friday.

According to employees, a man entered the store, brandished a firearm and demanded money.

“The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the victim before fleeing on foot,” police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. “No injuries were reported.”

Police said they used a police K-9 unit to search for the suspect.

The police describe the man as white, 17-23 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeved t-shirt, stone-washed blue jeans, tan work gloves and a blue shirt tied around his head covering his face.
