Prince William County Police are searching for a White Ford F150 style pickup truck that left the scene of a collision.
Police responded to the area of Sudley Road and Lomond Drive Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. to investigate a crash.
According to police the driver of a white Ford pick-up truck was traveling northbound on Sudley Road when the driver made a sudden stop due to traffic.
The driver of a 1995 Ford Ranger was also traveling northbound behind the Ford pick-up truck and was unsuccessful in avoiding a rear end collision with the truck,” police spokesperson Officer Ericca Figueroa said. “The Ford Ranger was then rear ended by the driver of a 1990 Chevy Prism.”
She said the driver, the only occupant of the Ford Ranger, was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the driver of the Chevy Prism was flown to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.
The investigation continues as the police search for a white Ford F150 style pickup truck with rear bumper damage and green paint transferred to the truck during the accident.
“The truck was last seen driven by a white male in late 20’s or early 30’s in the area of Sudley Road and Sudley Manor Drive in Manassas,” Figueroa said.
