Police Search for Suspects in Manassas Robbery

Prince William County Police are searching for two Hispanic males who attacked a 24-year-old Manassas man early morning Oct. 4 in the 7800 block of Amherst Drive in Manassas.

The victim told police that he was walking in the area when he was approached by two unknown men.

"During the encounter, one of the men pulled out a handgun and took the victim’s cell phone and money before fleeing in a vehicle," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said.

While police reported no injuries, they used a police K-9 to search the area.

Police describe the suspect as Hispanic men of unknown age. One individual is 5 feet, 7 inches with a thin build and short hair and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. The other suspect is five feet, five inches with a heavy build and last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
