Police Search for Suspects in Three Manassas Area Armed Robberies

Prince William Police are searching for suspects in three armed robberies that occurred in the Manassas area between October 10 and 12.

According to descriptions police received from victims and witnesses on the scene, the robberies were likely perpetrated by different individuals.

The Prince William Police are asking for residents’ help in locating the suspects in these crimes.

Hampton Inn Robbery

Prince William Officers responded to the Hampton Inn located at 7295 Williamson Boulevard in Manassas (20109) on Oct 10. at 4:49 p.m. to investigate a robbery.

The victim, a 21-year-old woman of Modesto, California, reported to police that she was inside her room when someone knocked on her door.

“When the victim answered, an unknown man entered the room, displayed a handgun and demanded money,” said police spokesperson, Office Jonathan Perok.

The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and fled the hotel on foot. No injuries were reported.

Suspect Description: White male, between 28 and 35-years-of-age, 5’11”, 185 lbs with a medium build and beard. Last seen wearing black jacket, white undershirt, dark colored pants, camouflage hat and black boots

Shoppers Square Robbery

Officers responded to the 8200 block of Shoppers Square in Manassas (20111) Oct. 10 at 7:05 p.m. to investigate a robbery.

The victim, a 27-year-old-man of Manassas, reported to police that he was walking in the area of the shopping center when he was approached and grabbed from behind by two unknown men.

During the encounter, the victim was knocked to the ground.

“Once on the ground, one of the men displayed a handgun while the other went through the victim’s pockets,” said police spokesperson, Officer Jonathan Perok. “The men took a wallet and money before fleeing on foot.”

No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.

Suspect Descriptions: Black male, between 20 and 23-years-of-age, tall with a thin build, dark complexion, mustache and long, black dreadlocks. Last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and dark pants.

Second black male, between 18 and 20-years-of-age, short with a thin build, dark complexion and short, black hair.

Second Shopper Square Robbery

Officers responded to the area of Maplewood Drive and Shoppers Square on Oct. 12 at 9:09 p.m. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery.

The victim, a 22-year-old-man of Manassas, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when a vehicle pulled up and block his path.

“At that point, two unknown men exited the vehicle. One of the men was armed with handgun and demanded the victim’s property,” said police spokesperson, Officer Jonathan Perok.

The men took the victim’s wallet containing money, a set of keys and a cell phone before getting back into the vehicle and fleeing the area. No injuries were reported.

Suspect Descriptions: Hispanic male, between 22 and 25-years-of-age, 5’7”, 170 lbs with a medium build with shoulder-length, curly black hair. Last seen wearing a black hat, black sweatshirt and black pants.

Second Hispanic male, between 22 and 25-years-of-age, 5’5”, 170 lbs with a muscular build. Last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
