Police Seek Public Help to Close 2005 Gainesville Cold Case

policedoor700pxPrince William County Police hope residents can help provide information that will lead to the capture of three suspects in the murder of Jose Effrain Guzman in 2005.
According to police, Guzman's body was discovered at 6018 Thoroughfare Road in Gainesville Feb. 7, 2015, where he reportedly died from blunt force trauma. He was 47-years-old.
Prior to the incident, he was last seen at a bar drinking with Roger Mendez-Lopez, Eberto Ulloa and Rigoberto Aguillar, who fled the country once police obtained warrants.
"If you know the whereabouts of any of the suspects or if you have any other information regarding Jose’s case please contact us,"a police spokesperson said. "Many years have passed and family and friends hope for closure."
