Prince William County Police have released more information about the suspect in the Carter Bank & Trust robbery in Nokesville.

According to police, after robbing Carter Bank & Trust along Fitzwater Drive on March 6, the suspect initially fled on foot until he entered a vehicle and drove away from the scene.

Police have described the suspect as a white male between 20 and 25 years of age, 5’5”, approximately 150 lbs with a reddish mustache.

Surveillance video from a nearby camera has captured an image of a man the police believe to be the suspect fleeing the scene of the crime and entering a vehicle. Police have described the vehicle as an “older model, 2-door Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.”

Prince William Police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok said, “the color of the suspect’s sweatshirt in the image is slightly distorted. The color of the sweatshirt should be noted as gray.”

The photo from the video also shows the vehicle to be a grayish color; however, it could be white, gray, silver or beige.

Unfortunately, the video did not capture a clear image of the suspect’s face.

The suspect did not harm anyone during the robbery, but did steal an undisclosed amount of money by implying that he had a weapon.

The suspect is still on the loose. Police are asking citizens with any information to come forward even anonymously to help catch the suspect. They are offering up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to his capture.
