Purse Stolen from Bristow Residence

Prince William County Police are investigating a burglary in the 8400 block of Lanier Overlook Court in Bristow.

According to the homeowner, the burglary occurred between 11 p.m. Sept. 7 and 7 p.m. Sept. 8.

"The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured rear door; a purse containing miscellaneous property was reported missing."
