The registration period is coming to an end for the Kingsrooke Sea Lion Swim Team Winter program; parents interested in signing up their child should fill out an application on www.kbswim.com. The team will hold In-person registration on Saturday, Jan. 14 from 2-4 p.m. at the community clubhouse.
The Kingsbrooke Sea Lion Winter Swim Program is open to all children, including those living outside of the community, and is intended to encourage young swimmers to practice and improve their skills during the winter months.
Practices with winter coach Leslie Priebe will be held at the Costello Recreation Center in Manassas and begin on Jan. 29 through May 13 between 2-4 p.m. with more experienced swimmers beginning at 3 p.m.
The cost is $175 per experienced swimmer and $100 for developmental swimmer.
Payments can be submitted to Michele Blue or mailed to 8857 Benchmark Lane, Bristow VA 20136. Cash or checks are accepted; all checks should be made out to “Kinsbrooke Swim Team.” Contact treasurer@kbswim.com for more details.
