The Virginia Department Of Transportation issued this picture of a sinkhole on Aden Road at Misty Creek Court in Nokesville.
It is among three sinkholes reported in Prince William County early Tuesday morning. The other two are located at Feetwood Road and Slateview Road in Nokesville, and Trenton Court and Valley View in Bristow.
These roads are closed as are other Prince William County roads which have been flooded.
The sinkholes account for the delayed and rerouted buses in the Brentsville School District.
Drivers should exercise caution today. There is no word on when these roads will be reopened.
