A resident contacted Prince William County Police May 11 to report that at least one bullet had been fired at a home in the 12400 block of Bristow Ridge Lane in Nokesville and traveled into an interior closet.
According to the homeowner, the incident occurred between 12 p.m. May 4 and 12 p.m. May 9.
Police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok said there were injuries and no other incidents were reported in the area.
