Prince William Police officers responded to a residence in the 12900 block of Fleetwood Drive in Nokesville, Monday after 8 a.m., to investigate a report of destruction of property.
The homeowner reported to police that a bullet hole was discovered in an interior wall of the home.
“Upon further investigation, a bullet was located on the floor inside the residence,” said police spokesperson, Officer Nathan Probus.
No injuries or other property damage were reported.
