Teen Gang Members from Manassas, Bristow Steal Beer from Supermarket

Prince William County Police arrested four individuals, three from Manassas and one from Bristow, on gang participation and robbery charges following an incident at Global Foods in Manassas Tuesday afternoon.

Employees of the supermarket, located at 10320 Festival Lane, told police five unknown suspects, three males and two females, entered the store to steal beer.

"When confronted by employees, a struggle ensued," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "All suspects fled the store with the beer prior to police arriving in the area."

Police reported minor injuries.

The surveillance footage identified the suspects as area gang members, three of whom are minors.

Detectives from the Gang Unit arrested and charged Israel Santos Maldonado, 18, of Manassas with robbery and gang participation. His court date is June 1, 2015 and he is held without bond.

A 15-year-old male of Bristow, a 17-year-old male of Manassas and a 15-year-old female of Manassas were all charged with robbery and gang participation. Their court dates are pending and they are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.

The second female suspect remains at large.
