A Bristow woman reported that her and two neighbors' cars were broken into Saturday night on Falcon View Court in the Kingsbrooke Community.
She said the incidents occurred after 11:30 p.m.
"Unfortunately, my car was left unlocked last night; I usually lock it," she said. "From my car, my Kindle was stolen. It is sort of funny because it is a very old version of a kindle and not worth anything."
The thief missed a pair of $150 sunglasses that were in the car's center console she said.
She surmises that the individual was a teenager, who might have know the value of the glasses.
The police were notified and took statements; she didn't know what items were stolen from her neighbor's cars.
This is the first incident she has experienced in the 15 years she has lived at her residence.
