Two Arrested for Hensley Road Murder; One Still Wanted

Prince William Police have arrested two men in the murder of Jason Thomas Mannion, but one woman connected to the murder is still at large.

December 12, detectives from the Homicide Unit received information ultimately leading to the identification of three suspects involved in the murder of Jason Mannion, which occurred at a residence in the 9500 block of Hensley Road, Manassas, May 12.

The preliminary investigation alleged that two of the suspects, Marquan Antonio Brown and Jhaire Nathaniel Montgomery, attempted to rob the victim inside the home.

During the encounter, the victim was shot and later died.

A third suspect, identified as Rhebekah Alexis Patterson, was also determined to have participated in the incident,” said police spokesperson, Sgt. Jonathan Perok. “All parties were known to one another.”

Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of these suspects.

Brown is currently incarcerated in Culpeper County on unrelated charges. Montgomery was located and arrested in Culpeper County, December 15, without incident.

The remaining suspect, Patterson, has not been apprehended and is currently being sought by police.

Marquan Antonio Brown, 25, of no fixed address, and Jhaire Nathaniel Montgomery, 19, of 22098 Highland Road in Culpeper were charged with murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Their court date has been set for Feb. 6, 2017. They are being held without bond.

Rhebekah Alexis Patterson, 29, of Retriever Road in Culpeper is wanted in connection to the murder.

Patterson is described as a white female, 5’6”, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She is wanted for principal in the second degree to murder

Homicide Investigation [Previously Released]

May 12 at 2:45 a.m., officers responded to a residence located in the 9500 block of Hensley Road in Manassas (20112) to investigate a shooting.

Officers arrived at the home and located an adult male victim inside suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Other occupants were in the home at the time of incident and were unharmed.

“The preliminary investigation revealed that possibly two suspects entered the home and shot the victim before fleeing,” said a police spokesperson. “A police K-9 responded to the scene to search for the suspects who were not located.”

May 13, the victim involved in the shooting died at an area hospital as a result of his injuries. Detectives from the Homicide Unit are continuing to investigate this case.

The victim was identified as Jason Thomas Mannion, 43, of Manassas
