Two additional arrests were made in the murder of Kenny Diaz, the Woodbridge 18-year-old, who was stabbed to death in Marmusco Area Park on Sept. 21.

Ariel Juanita Adams, 19, of Bellona Road in Woodbridge, was charged with abduction in connection with the Diaz murder. Additionally, Gibreal Jama Guled, 32, who has no fixed address, was also charged with abduction in the case.

The two suspects were taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force on Sept. 24.

“Both suspects were arrested without incident,” said Prince William County police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok.

These arrests follow the arrest of six individuals Tuesday. Of the six, Diandra Samuels, 19, was charged with Diaz’s murder in addition to other lesser charges. Five others, men and women ranging in age from 19-29, were charged with abduction, and one young man was charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

According to Perok, a group of young men and women were arrested for abducting Diaz after he and friends visited their Bellona Road neighborhood, trying to get back money robbed from Diaz’s friend. Police believe the money was tied to drugs, and the theft went unreported to police at that time. After a confrontation, Samuels and her acquaintances allegedly took Diaz into a car and drove him to Marumsco Area Park where he was stabbed and killed by Samuels.

The investigation is still ongoing.
