UPDATE: Police Warn Residents Away from Broad Run, List Road Closures

Due to the heavy rains in the past 24 hours, Broad Run is rapidly rising. Prince William County Police are monitoring the Linton Hall Road between Sudley Manor and Braemar Parkway and warn motorists to exercise caution in the area. The Braemar Home Owners Association asks that residents avoid the Broad Run trails, which are in the flood plain. The National Weather Service has issued three concurrent flood alerts Wednesday afternoon:
A Flood Warning is in effect until 8:30 p.m. April 30
A Flash Flood Warning in effect until 4:15 p.m. April 30
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 6 a.m. May 1
