Vandals Cause $845 in Damage to Sheffield Manor Community Pool, Building

Prince William County Police are searching for suspects in a burglary at the Sheffield Manor Community Pool in Bristow.

Sheffield Manor staff told police that between 8 p.m. Aug. 4 and 10 a.m. Aug. 5. unknown individuals vandalized the pool area and the community building located at 12354 Penzance Lane,

"The investigation revealed that during that time, an unknown suspect(s) entered the pool area on the property and threw various items into the deep end of the pool; the suspect(s) then entered the community building, possibly through an unsecured door," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "Once inside, the suspect(s) damaged a television which was mounted on the wall."

Perok said no property was reported missing and damage is estimated at $845.
