Detectives from the Special Victims Unit of the Prince William Police Department arrested Derrick Ryan Trump, 28, of Centreville on charges of indecent liberties by a custodian.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred in May 2016 at his home in Fauquier County as well as at the Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Nokesville, where Trump is the former youth director.

"The investigation revealed that the accused, the youth director at the church, had inappropriate contact on more than one occasion with the victim, a 16-year-old female juvenile," police spokesman Officer Nathan Probus said.

Prince William Police were initially contacted by the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office May 29.

Following the investigation, detectives with Prince William County obtained a warrant for the arrest of the suspect Aug. 16.

"The accused was located and arrested without incident at his new residence in Fairfax later that afternoon," Probus said.

Trump's court date is pending and he was released on a $3,500 secured bond.
