EMPTY SHELTER PROJECT: Misty is Ready for her Close up

Posted

This week’s featured pet is Misty. Misty is a pit bull mix. We think she may be part French bulldog as she has those cute ears and the super round head typical of a Frenchie. Plus, there's her propensity for fashion!

She's approximately three-years-old and is a huge cuddle bug. We got her from the same shelter that we got Mega. They're actually being fostered together, and they love each other!

Misty does well with more submissive dogs as she can be a bit of an alpha. She's a great girl, and we think she'll make someone a very happy person! She's so sweet I couldn't find a bad thing to say about her if I tried.

She loves playing with her toys and especially likes squeaky toys. She loves going for car rides and enjoys being around people. She is potty trained and knows “sit!” She's a very smart girl and learns very fast.

If you can see Misty being the right pet for you, please contact the volunteers at the Empty Shelter Project (ESP) by phone: 571 288 2878 or 571 991 9642, email: adopt@espnova.org or find us on Facebook!

Besides Misty, the ESP has a number of dogs and cats all needing to be adopted. They can help you find one right for you and your family.

The Empty Shelter Project is an all-volunteer foster-based animal rescue group in Prince

William County dedicated to saving the lives of animals in danger of euthanasia in animal shelters across America. ESP also strives to help educate the public about issues regarding the pet overpopulation crisis to help prevent and decrease the amount of animals entering shelters annually.
