A male Golden Retriever who went missing from Haymarket on Thursday is still missing.
“Buddy” was last spotted Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. near Route 15 and Interstate 66. He was not wearing his collar.
He is a rescue dog who bolted of his collar and leash on the first day staying with a new rescue family. Although the family acted lovingly towards him, they believe the dog was still skittish about being somewhere new.
The Golden Retriever may respond to “Buddy” which is the name given to him at the shelter. He has a small bump on his head and is 60 lbs.
