Richard Lee Proffitt, 62, a Prince William County Schools bus driver, died Monday when a different bus backed into him. Now, friends are trying to raise money for the Proffitts in their time of crisis via a GoFunMe page.
School Board Chairman to Match ‘Settle the Debt’ Effort for 2018
“Settle the Debt” is on again for 2018 and has just received a match offer. School Board Chairman At-large Ryan Sawyers will match up to a $1,000 in donations, approximately three months of his chairman’s salary, as contribution to funds donated by Dec. 2.
