Conveyance of Land Clears Way for Development of Broad Run Park System

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors authorized the transfer of two parcels of land to Park Authority for the purpose of developing the Broad Run Linear Park System.

At the Feb. 21 meeting, the Supervisors directed the County’s attorney’s office to transfer the deeds for two County-owned parcels located at 9600 Linton Hall Road (55.6 acres) and 12790 Sudley Manor Drive (18.2 acres).

William Board of County Supervisors to be set aside for use as part of the County’s Broad Run Linear Park , which would include a pedestrian trail system throughout the development.

When completed, the Broad Run Trail system will be approximately 10 miles long.
