VDOT PlowsWhile Prince William County may not see significant snow accumulation, Virginia Department of Transportation crews are taking no chances with tomorrow morning's expected wintry mix.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for snow likely, possibly mixed with rain, after 10 a.m.

"As pavement temperatures will be hovering around freezing, drivers are asked to check road conditions before leaving, delay trips if necessary and be aware of changing road conditions throughout the day," a VDOT spokesperson said.

VDOT announced they will have 800 trucks will be pre-deployed throughout Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William and Arlington counties by midnight.

"Crews will not be pre-treating as rain is expected this evening," they said.
