Haymarket Gainesville Lifestyle Magazine has announced its annual “Best Of” contest, now in its 15th year.
Local businesses are the heart and the lifeline of community; retail stores, restaurants, entertainment venues and service providers help make western Prince William County a great place to live.
As such, Haymarket Gainesville Lifestyle’s Magazine’s annual competition strives to highlight “the best of” those local businesses, organizations and people as nominated and voted upon by our readers.
Nominations have closed, but voting will remain open until June 10. Participants are encouraged vote daily. Nominees can increase their visibility by reaching out to their clients, coworkers, friends online.
Readers can vote online here, or follow Haymarket Gainesville Lifestyle Magazine on Facebook where the contest is pinned.
Last year the publication received over 25,000 votes from 3,011 people in 123 specific categories, such as cafés, yoga studios, salons, summer camps, doctors and fitness clubs. Thus far, the magazine has received 16,000, but we hope to double that.
Nominees are invited to advertise their businesses in the contestant list with logo to highlight them. Those interested can contact jim@whglifestyle.com or cindy@whglifestyle.com for more information.
Winners will be featured in the lifestyle magazine’s August issue that is delivered to 12,000 homes and businesses in Gainesville and Haymarket. Winners receive a certificate and digital logo to display.
Some of our first-time winners, or those how haven’t won in five years or more, will be chosen to receive a short article in our August issue, and one will be chosen to grace the cover.
Winners can also purchase an expanded mention in the magazine that includes address, phone number and webpage information, and/or traditional advertising.
Readers can read our 2024 “Best Of Winners” here, or see how they were featured the magazine here.
Again, customers can vote online here, and vote once a day. One does not need to live in Gainesville or Haymarket to participate; those familiar with the area are invited to vote as well.
