Welcome back to a summer in Prince William, Virginia. Devour something new, take a sip of history on the Steins, Vines, and Moonshine Trail, experience American History at one of the many historic sites or museums, or hike and bike in 38 square miles of open space and parks. Prince William, Virginia.  Come enjoy its open spaces and friendly faces.

Below is a listing of upcoming events, festivals, and activities that occur in Prince William County this June. Events include socially distant in-person and virtual events for the community.  Please contact each venue for event confirmation.

Juneteenth Events (6/18):

6/19 Juneteenth at Lucasville School - (Manassas) Join the Prince William County Historic Preservation Division at Lucasville in honor of Juneteenth to learn about the celebration marking the emancipation of enslaved African Americans throughout the South. Visit the one-room schoolhouse to learn about the development of freedmen communities throughout Prince William County and the progression of education throughout Prince William County throughout Reconstruction and the Jim Crow Era.

6/19 Prince William African American History Car Caravan Tour - (County Wide) Join local historians on a daylong tour exploring the unique and powerful stories behind the African American history of Prince William County. You will travel the county stepping back in time from the 1800s to the 1960s and stopping at many special and sometimes forgotten sites, to learn about the lifestyle, challenges, and the power of education.

Father’s Day Events (6/20):

6/18 – 6/20 Eavesdrop Brewery 3rd Anniversary Celebration - (Yorkshire) They have a full weekend of celebration with the main event happening Saturday, June 19th. There will be live music, guest breweries pouring their taps, vendors, good eats, beer releases, baby goats and more!

6/19 3v3 Live National Soccer Tournament @ Ben Lomond Regional Park - (Manassas) Come out to play, watch or coach at this year’s 3v3 Live National Soccer Tournament in Manassas, VA. 3v3 Live is open to ages 5 through adults. Registration Deadline: Registration deadline is 10 days before event.  

6/19 & 6/20 Father’s Day Tours at Prince William County Historic Sites - (County Wide) Does your Dad enjoy history, the outdoors, walking trails or good stories? Then treat him to a tour of one of Prince William County’s historic sites for Father’s Day!  All dads that visit during the Father’s Day weekend will receive a complimentary tour of one of our historic sites. Free refreshments available as well. 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.; $5 per person, Free for fathers and children under 6.

6/19 Northern Virginia Reptile Expo at Prince William County Fair Grounds - (Manassas) Reptiles, books, supplies, feeders, everything you need! Admission: $8.00 – Adults, $3.00 – Children 6-11, 5 & under free.

6/20 Sunday Fun Skate at Skate N’Fun Zone - (Manassas) Pack up the family and friends and come visit Skate N’Fun Zone in Manassas for clean healthy fun this Father’s Day from open until 5pm.

6/20 Father’s Day Brunch, Lunch or Dinner at Bistro L’Hermitage - (Occoquan) This Father’s Day, give him what he really wants. Give him the gift of an exquisite meal balanced with perfect timing. Normal Sunday times available. Our traditional menu prepared for you by Chef de Cuisine Dawn Burkart.

6/1  LIVE Comedy Open Mic at The Electric Palm – (Woodbridge) Live Comedy every Tuesday in Woodbridge!!! Comedians: This is a prebooked mic. Email ddubcomedy@gmail.com for spots. Audience members: Come see some of the best comics in the DMV for FREE!

6/1 – 6/30 (Weather Dependent) Strawberry Picking at Yankey Farms - (Nokesville) They have very limited strawberry picking this season. Picking will be by reservation only. They will not have any prepicked berries available. Pick your own strawberries are $30 per gallon. They suffered a significant reduction in their early crop due to the freeze a few weeks ago. Please bear with them as berry availability will be limited for the first few weeks of the season.

6/3 Love is Love Caribbean Dinner & Cocktail Tasting at Bristow Manor - (Bristow) Join the Bristow Manor Golf Club team for an evening of Caribbean infused dishes and colorful cocktails!

6/4 First Friday Night Fires at Ben Lomond - (Manassas) 7:30 p.m.; $5 per person, children 6 and under free. In a time when the outdoors means more to Americans than ever before, get outside, and enjoy the warm summer nights around a campfire as you explore the history of America’s public parks. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, a picnic basket, and enjoy beautiful Virginia night around a campfire with storytelling, history, recreation, and preservation.

6/5 Hylton on the Hill: Lua Project at Hylton Performing Arts Center - (Manassas) Lua Project invites the whole family to experience “Mexilachian Music,” the joyful confluence of original and traditional music from Mexico, Appalachia, and the Atlantic basin, featuring eclectic musical styles across cultures and times for its outdoor Hylton on the Hill performance.

6/5 Ben Lomond’s Antique Rose Garden Tea - (Manassas) Celebrate the arrival of spring by spending a wonderful afternoon in the antique rose garden at Ben Lomond enjoying historic tea and garden-themed treats. The price of admission is $150 per table (up to four people per table), advanced registration is required. The admission price includes a table reservation that seats up to four people, tea, light refreshments, and a special talk about roses and spring flowers in one of the largest antique rose gardens in the Washington D.C. metro area.

6/5 & 6/6 Occoquan’s Pop Up Artisan Markets at River Mill Park - (Occoquan) Get ready to pop & shop! Mark your calendars for Occoquan’s Pop-Up Artisan Markets coming this June. open-air weekends of fun and shopping in River Mill Park-- arts and crafts markets curated from the work of juried artisans. Enjoy sunshine, music, and sips while you shop, overlooking the Occoquan River.

6/11 & 6/20 Occoquan Paddling Tour with Penguin Paddling - (Occoquan) This guided trip is approximately two hours in duration and launches from behind Madigan’s Waterfront Restaurant in Old Town Occoquan. This paddle trip will leave the start point and take you past the old Occoquan Mill Ruins, Occoquan Regional Park, and along a beautiful river scene packed with waterfowl, fish, and other critters.

6/11 I&I Riddim Live Summer Concert Series at Stonebridge - (Woodbridge) The kickoff to Stonebridge’s Summer Concert Series with the sounds of the Caribbean at I & I Riddim.

6/12 Spring Spirits Ghost Bar Crawl in Historic Occoquan - (Occoquan) If you enjoy going to bars, ghostly encounters, a bunch of free stuff, and having a super fun experience. Then you will love this Ghost Bar Crawl!  You get to visit each of the bars and sit with a medium who will have you having a personal conversation with a spirit. Oh, don't worry the Spirits are friendly and really enjoy the conversation. Not only do you get the coolest experience, but you get amazing Swag bag and some amazing surprises at each bar too.

6/12 Taste of Woodbridge 2021 at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center - (Woodbridge) Join us for a fun-filled day at the beautiful Stonebridge Town Center! Food tastings, exhibitors, interactive fun, and LIVE entertainment! FREE to attend! Tasting tickets are $1 each and will go on sale closer to the event.

6/12, 6/13, 6/26 & 6/27 Bristow Station Battlefield Heritage Park Tours - (Bristow) Bristoe Station Battlefield staff and volunteers will provide guided tours of this hallowed ground that contains camps, cemeteries, and battlefields. Learn about Camp Jones and the battles that took place in 1862 and 1863. Tours begin at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm and depart from the kiosk in the parking lot on Iron Brigade Unit Avenue. 

6/20 K9’s in the Vines at The Winery at La Grange – (Haymarket) Bring your pup and taste your way around our Petit Manseng, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot vines. Each two-legged participant receives a stemless, commemorative "K9's in the Vines" wine glass along with a tasting of our wines grown on property as you take in the scenic beauty!
