"Love to Swing" Dance Night at the ARTfactory

MANASSAS, VA, July 20, 2022 — Boogie-woogie on the way to Swing Dance Night at the ARTfactory on Saturday, August 6th from 7pm-10:30pm.

Joe Manning will teach a 30-minute lesson beginning at 7:30pm where the focus will be on East Coast Swing Dance moves like the Jitterbug and the Lindy Hop.

The ballroom has a premium “floating” wood floor which is the perfect place to let those dance moves loose. Dress in vintage attire to enter the competitive costume contest at 8:30pm. DJ Eli will spin big band classics until 10:30pm. Snacks and raffle items will be available.

This FUNdraiser’s proceeds will support ARTfactory’s wonderful Pied Piper Theatre Set Shop - the essential space where magical settings for theatrical productions are created. Help fund the costly set designs that add pizzazz to Pied Piper Theatre’s renowned performances.

Following the current CDC recommendation, students and instructors can wear masks based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk. Enrollment will be limited for social distancing. ARTfactory continues to show vigilance in cleaning and sanitizing its facilities.
