PWCS Reopens for Weekend Activities

Following seven consecutive weather-related closings, Prince William County Schools will reopen Saturday for school division and community activities.

According to PWCS, residents should refer to the web pages of specific programs for status of events.

The teacher workday scheduled for Monday, Feb. 1 will take place as planned; therefore, students will not return to classes until Tuesday.

However, the end of the second grading period as well as the distribution of report cards will be delayed by five days.

Teachers are beginning to receive instructions from their respective administrations about specific timelines for grade entry.
