Another Promenade at Virginia Gateway Restaurant is poised to open soon.
Denver-based Smashburger will open to their new Gainesville location to the public Jan. 22.
Smashburger makes fresh, never frozen, hand-crafted, 100% certified Angus Beef burgers, that are “smashed,” seared and seasoned on a grill. The restaurant also serves chicken sandwiches, salads, signature side items and hand-spun Häagen-Dazs shakes.
The chain is also known for localizing its menu in every market with regionally inspired burgers, side items and local craft beers.
“Gainesville is an up and coming area. The demographics are great,” Smashburger PR & Marketing Manager Christine Ferris said. “We choose areas that will support other businesses that will draw for us.”
Prior to the grand opening, the restaurant will hold two pre-opening events.
The Monday before, we will have a friends and family night and Tuesday will be our V.I.P./media event,” she said.
Smashburger is located immediately across the street from the Regal Virginia Gateway Stadium 14 & RPX
