Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt to Host Local Performers; O'Rourke to Perform Friday

Posted

Orange Leaf of Bristow, the new frozen yogurt shop in the Braemar Village Plaza, will hold its first live music event with Cormac O’Rourke Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m.

“I’m happy to announce that we’re scheduling live music starting this Friday night at Orange Leaf Bristow,” said owner Rufus Manning.

Courmac O’Rourke is a Patriot High School student  and alternative rock artist. He has already released an album, which is available on iTunes. O’Rourke will perform songs with special guest vocalist Katie Cox.

Manning said he is excited about the event, which he hopes will introduce people to Orange Leaf, as well as provide a place for people to gather and enjoy local live music. He wants to hold similar live music events in the future.

“This is part of the thing that we hope will set Orange Leaf apart from anything in Bristow, not just other froyo shops. We want Orange Leaf to be ‘the’ place to be on Friday and Saturday nights.”
