Wolf Trap Announces First Summer Concerts of 2014

Posted

Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts announced a bevy of concerts for its 16-week 2014 summer season, including Filene Center performances by Lionel Richie and CeeLo Green, Boston, Ringo Starr, Diana Ross, Heart, and Crosby, Stills & Nash as well as a variety of jazz and classical music concerts.

Wolf Trap, located at 1551 Trap Road, Vienna, Va., is America’s only National Park for the Performing Arts.

“In this 30th anniversary year of the rebirth of the Filene Center following devastating fires—a process that saw the community band together to support the arts—we are proud to welcome the greatest names across the spectrum of music, including Lionel Richie, Yo-Yo Ma, Wynton Marsalis, and Josh Groban,” said Arvind Manocha, Wolf Trap Foundation President and CEO. “Whether you’re a fan of symphonic music, opera, R&B, or rock, every music lover can celebrate Wolf Trap this summer.”

Tickets for the events listed below are currently available to members; tickets go on sale Mar. 29 at 10 a.m. to the general public. The Wolf Trap Foundation plans to announce a second round of summer shows April 17.
